Arrival by Air?
International Flights will land at the Philip Goldson International Airport, also known as the Belize International Airport, and you will be required to go through immigration.
At this time you will need to provide your passport and you will be given a tourist card.
Ensure that you keep this card as it is your ticket to leave the country.
After going through immigrations you will retrieve your luggage. Then proceed to clear customs where you will hand in your customs card.
Please allow approximately 30-40 minutes to clear immigrations and customs.
* An entry fee is not required into the country; however there is a departure fee for leaving the country. Most likely this fee is included in the airline ticket, check with your travel agency.
Domestic Flights will land at the Belize City Municipal Airstrip and you are not required to go through Immigrations, Customs or in need of a tourist card.
The Commuter Flight companies and land taxis are waiting just outside either of the airport(s).
OR
Arrival by Car ?
While you are staying at the Resort you most likely will want a safe location to park your vehicle in Belize City. Both the Philip Goldson International Airport and the Belize City Municipal Airstrip have a secured parking area. You will need to check directly with the airport(s) as there may be a fee required for parking your vehicle for the duration of your stay.
Tip: We suggest the best secured area is the Philip Goldson International Airport.
There are only two methods of transportation from Belize City to San Pedro; by Commuter Flight or by Water Taxi.
Commuter Flight: We strongly recommend this method for your day of Arrival.
The commuter flights have service from both the Belize International and Municipal Airstrip so you are not required to leave either airport terminal to catch the flight.
You may take either: Tropic Air or Maya Island Air Commuter Plane.
